Alongside acupuncture, herbal medicine is the other major pillar of Chinese medicine. In fact, herbal medicine and acupuncture share the same underlying theories and principles. Herbal medicine has been used in China for thousands of years. There are over 300 Chinese herbs in common use, including roots, stems, leaves, seeds, and flowers, as well as some mineral products.
The doctor prescribes a combination of a number of herbs especially suited for you and your condition, so each prescription is tailor-made to the individual. Herbal medicine can be taken as liquid, tablets or powder, as well as external uses, such as cream, lotion, oil. Unfortunately, some of the herbs will not taste nice, but in China we say “the more bitter the taste, the better the herb”!
The centre ensures the quality and safety of all our herbal medicine at every stage.
We have updated our herbal product line, adding Chinese herbal granules as well as raw herbs. Chinese herbal granules, also known as "scientifically concentrated Chinese medicine," are processed in the factory through steps such as boiling, extraction, filtration, and concentration, ultimately forming granules. Chinese herbal granules provide convenience and portability.
